Philips Communication Assistant Manager in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Join the Corporate Communications team while advancing your career in a dynamic, fast paced and multinational environment of Philips Hong Kong.

You are responsible for

HS Marcom Support

  • Responsible for coordinating and delivering marketing events on time and on budget for HK HS business, ensures that events are part of the Integrated customer decision journey.

  • Work in accordance and ensures GBP / Compliance with defined event processes, communicate with GBP officer or committee for Event GBP approval.

  • Coordinate business marketing event as E2E process with the support of key BU stakeholders.

  • Regular monthly review with business leader on the yearly business marketing program plan

  • Review and plan for yearly Business marketing AOP.

  • Manage preferred agency relationships, Support business on routine and special giveaway selection and comply to audit requirement.

  • Ensure measurement is put in place for clear KPI measurement (qualitative and quantitative)

Corporate level

  • Strengthening the Philips’ reputation and brand as a health technology leader in HK

  • Develop and coordinate the execution of the strategic brand and corporate communication plan across Health Tech to support strategic market and marketing objectives including:

  • Earned coverage in top tier media outlets (e.g. business national dailies, weeklies, broadcast, radio) and healthcare/tech trade media.

  • Thought leadership programs across media, Government, Academia and other audiences to grow Philips' mindshare in health technology.

  • Local execution of internal communication & engagement on brand vision

  • Local brand custodianship

  • Planning and executing of local partnership and sponsorship.

Communication

  • Provide executive communications support to market senior management to profile them as thought leaders in health technology.

  • Partner with Group Press Office on global announcements and crisis communications where needed.

  • Promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Drive Employee Communication

  • Manage employee communications including, but not limited to: Culture activation, Philips Leadership team (PLT) cascade, Town Halls, Newsletters

  • Organize and partner with people function to deploy engagement activities in HK office

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above

  • 5 years’ experience with marcom & branding in medical healthcare/ FMCG / Commercial org, preferred from MNCs.

  • Good communications skills

  • Strong language – Mandarin, English written & oral required

  • Individual contributor and can work independently, proactively, team up spirit.

  • Good career development and exposure in Greater China or GBA area
