Core Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver planned joint business plans, promotion plans and effective assortment with brand activation, sales target growth, effective inventory management and assortment planning as key goals.

  • Prioritize winning partners and winning trade initiatives that will work in department stores and toys specialists in current evolving HK retail landscape.

  • Accounts ownership for selling in, consumer sales targets, demand planning, forecasting and account P&L management.

  • Review business, budget and inventory performance on a weekly basis and drive short to medium term actions for growth opportunity or mitigations.

  • Identify and recruit new customer opportunities in the market to expand scale and distribution points to help us reach more consumers and shoppers.

  • Manage end-to-end customer management, from understanding customers' business situation, analyze and review business performance, develop confidence with customers on promotion initiatives, propose and negotiate with buyers, lead customer meetings and implement aligned plans at their store front.

  • Build strong collaboration with the Sales Planning, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to support the sales initiatives.

  • Ensure Trade Marketing executions and activities are implemented and delivering the LEGO Brand Values.

This is an important channel for Hong Kong toy industry and LEGO Hong Kong & Macau. Our department stores and toy specialists have an important distribution role, a long and celebrated history, current and future role and potential to help us reach more consumers, shoppers and grow the LEGO Brand in Hong Kong & Macau.

HK & Macau’s retail landscape have evolved rapidly since COVID-19 re-opening with change and this role is especially important to have strong experience in these channels to identify the trends, understand what change is needed and create strong mutual value proposition for our partners and the LEGO Group to bring more play and fun to Hong Kong.

This role is a position within the Hong Kong Sales team reporting directly to General Manager, LEGO Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years proven experience in retail, FMCG industry and key account management

  • Experience in department stores and modern trade or equivalent channels is highly preferred.

  • Strong collaboration, multi-matrix partner management and analytical skills

  • Experience in autonomous customer meetings, sales forecasting and initiative planning

  • Proven commercial competence (retail P&L management)

  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI etc

  • Fluent and strong communication skills in both English and Cantonese

  • Result oriented with a can-do spirit and customer service oriented attitude

  • Growth and opportunity mentality to navigate in a dynamic environment
