Snelling Personal Lines Account Manager in Homewood, Alabama
Snelling is recruiting foraLicensed Insurance Agentfor an insurance and bonding company in the Birmingham area. Upbeat office looking for someone with enthusiasm, ability to multitask and to keep daily operations running smoothly! Base Salary and Benefitsfor Licensed Insurance Agent:
- $20.00-25.00/hr depending onexperience
- Paid individual health coverage if needed
- Paid Long-Term Disability if needed
- Paid Vacation per agency guidelines
Job Responsibilities for Licensed Insurance Agent:
- This person will help us build and maintain great relationships with our existing clients and land new ones.
- Responsibilities include quoting new and renewal home and auto insurance accounts, making policy changes, handling claims, issuing auto ID cards, communicating changes with clients and related activities.
Job Requirements for Licensed Insurance Agent:
- We prefer 3 years of experience working in an independent insurance agency environment and familiarity with the companies we represent.
- A State of Alabama Property and Casualty License is required. This is a great opportunity for the right person
- Great attitude, easy-to-get along with
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working with people
- Working knowledge of Microsoft computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Maintain appropriate licensing with State of Alabama Insurance Department.
- Become proficient with our agency management system (Partner XE).
- Input on how we can always do things better
