Snelling Fitter in Homewood, Alabama
Snelling is searching for aFitterfor theIrondale, AL area. As a Fitter youll position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches in preparation for welding.
Secondshift hours with required overtime when needed. Pay depending on experience Fitter Features:
- Work with an amazing team in afast-pacedand fun atmosphere
- Be able to gain overtime hours rather quickly
- Accurately measure withinthespecified tolerance.
- Read and interpret the engineered blueprint.
- Will set up and change settings as needed
- Maintain and complete all required records and production documentation.
Fitter Requirements:
- Minimum of2-3+years of experience in fitting
- Familiarity with Mechanical Fitting is a must
- Need to be able to read and understand blueprints/drawings
- Must be able to pass a simple weld test
