The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a Clerical Assistant 2 in District 3-11 of Retail Operations. In this role, you will serve as the assistant to the District Manager where you will be responsible for prioritizing, organizing, and completing functions required in the district office to enable the District Manager to perform field responsibilities. Also, you will work cooperatively with the District Manager to keep the district running smoothly and fulfill requests from the Regional and Central Offices. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As the District Manager Secretary (Clerical Assistant 2), you will be providing clerical support to multiple districts and counties within region 3. Work includes completing Electronic Position Action Requests (EPARs), distributing performance evaluation reminders to all store personnel in the district, and maintaining an appointment calendar for the district manager including scheduling appointments and interviews. Throughout operations, you must ensure all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Effective communication is key as you will be handling all correspondence from central office, regional office, store personnel, legislators, union representative, and vendors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
