The Manufacturing Engineering Manager manages assigned resources for dual Divisions (RCD -Holyoke & USTA -Chicopee) and provides direction to direct reports in a manner that ensures all safety, quality, delivery, and cost (efficiency and continuous improvement) objectives are achieved for both the Holyoke and Chicopee manufacturing locations. Responsible for budget controls, tooling design and implementation, in a manner that supports and benefits production output. Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering advanced degree preferred. Master\'s degree preferred. Minimum of six years of hands-on experience in a regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO and IAFT procedures experience is required. Ability to understand a wide range of intellectual and practical problems by applying principles of logical or scientific thinking. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
