Working within the Global Zebra service division, this position is responsible for working collaboratively with Repair Engineering management for successful and on time implementation of process's required to support product repair within the assigned region.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports New Product Introduction by helping to ensure all operations are ready to repair new devices as they are released to market. Help to ensure tools and equipment have been qualified. Assist with training production group on repair process for newly released devices

  • Work closely with product engineering teams, depot management and repair engineering management to assist with the implementation of product design and process changes within the global repair depots

  • Follows standard practices and procedures to analyze returns. May recommend process improvement and assist with the improvement implementation with key customers

  • May shadow more senior team members in key customer meetings

  • ECN (Engineering Change Notices) – assist with the management and implementation of service engineering change management ECN to the repair depots

  • Participates in cost reductions efforts as assigned

  • Assist with the creation of process documentation for team and repair depots

  • Works toward six sigma certifications and applies knowledge to projects under supervision

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or degree in progress) in Mechanical Engineering

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a prior Zebra internship

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Access 97, fluent in English, familiar with quality measurement techniques - 5S, TWM, Six Sigma, project management

  • Quantitative and problem solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary: USD 65500.00 - USD 98300.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
