BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
To pull and pack product with accuracy and efficiency in order to ship out to the customer on time.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Locate and pull all daily local deliveries
Locate and pull orders shipping via courier or trucking company
Locate and pull HOT UPS order first, then regular UPS and later next day orders
Investigate and locate missing stock
Re-allocate new tags and un-commit old tags
Print shipping labels
Scale maintenance
Check computer and product for accuracy and pack orders for final inspection
Maintain clean workstations (including neat and organized)
Keep aisles organized and free from obstruction.
Daily removal of cardboard and garbage
Report any safety issues immediately to management if needing assistance
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
A High School diploma or the equivalent is required or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be PC literate.

Ability to be trained on the picker & forklift
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
