Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals team. This individual will be involved in various aspects of client engagements and will work closely with all levels of management within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA will be a plus.
5+ years of general or tax accounting experience.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
Strong numerical skills and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
