Robert Half Sr. Government Cost Analyst in Holly Springs, North Carolina

Description

We are seeking a Sr. Government Cost Analyst in the Healthcare/NHS industry, based in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. This role involves performing intricate cost analysis and financial modelling, particularly focusing on government contracts. We offer a short term contract employment opportunity in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out meticulous examination, analysis, and interpretation of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) to assist in bid preparation.

• Execute financial analysis and modelling, primarily focusing on indirect cost analysis.

• Collaborate closely with the finance team to devise strategies that optimize costs.

• Generate financial reports and present findings to Senior Leadership.

• Utilize SAP and other financial systems for reporting and data analysis.

• Review and analyze government contract bids for accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis for government contracts.

• Provide expertise in financial management software, particularly SAP.

• Support team in creating and implementing cost-saving strategies.

• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a government cost analysis role, preferably within the healthcare/NHS sector

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, with the ability to create and modify complex financial models

• Demonstrated experience working with Federal Government Contracts, understanding the complexities and regulations associated

• Familiarity with the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, able to navigate and manage effectively

• Knowledge of Indirect Spend management and strategies to optimize costs

• Proficiency in using SAP software for financial management and analysis

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in an understandable manner

• Must hold a relevant degree in finance, economics, or a related field

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• High level of integrity and professionalism, respecting the confidential nature of financial data.
