Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Senior Civil Engineer Supervisor (Transportation) in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania

The Department of Transportation, Engineering District 9-0 is currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer Supervisor (Transportation). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project delivery process, including highways and structures. DESCRIPTION OF WORK You are responsible for overseeing the transportation projects' delivery process, including highway and structural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations. In a matrix management setting, you will manage resources, costs, quality, and timely delivery from start to finish. As a member of the project delivery unit, you will supervise projects under the guidance of the Portfolio Manager or Project Manager 3, working with both in-house and consultant teams.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS). Telework:  You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Hollidaysburg.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists ; or Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; or Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline.

Special Requirement:

This position requires possession of a valid driver's license.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
