*Position Summary: *

The Business Systems Analyst will operate in an Agile development environment and function as a Feature Product Owner. In this crucial role, you will work collaboratively with all stakeholders to gather, define, and refine reporting requirements that will help transform customer data into valuable and actionable insights for our external reporting audiences.By working across company teams, this individual will drive development of solutions to aid in meeting audience needs while aligning with the company's vision. *This position requires knowledge of Agile development methodologies including best practices for review of a product backlog, interpreting initiatives, writing epics and stories. Success in this role will involve efficient and timely communication to technical and non-technical team members, proactive coordination, creative problem solving, having a growth mind-set, being excited by future technologies and driven deliver exceptional user customer experiences while actively identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively advocate for library and vendor needs within the External Reporting process. 
  2. Effectively manage and prioritize backlog working closely with the product owner.
  3. Develop a deep knowledge of the different systems involved with delivering External Reporting experience. 
  4. Collect, review, and analyze confidential information to guide feature development discussions with stakeholders.
  5. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational trainings, workshops, reviewing professional publications and other relevant resources.
  6. Create functional and technical specs for design, implementation, and architecture.
  7. Build trust through strong, long-term relationships with cross-functional Business and Technical teams.
  8. Facilitate open dialogue with business, product, and technology stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and manage expectations for product delivery.
  9. Apply Agile and Scrum principles and best practices to manage projects.
  10. Bridge the gap between business goals and technical feasibility. 
  11. Work with Agility Leads to proactively communicate upcoming milestones and release dates with clear visibility for all stakeholders throughout the development process.
  12. Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and all business partners.
  13. Practice excellent organizational, documentation and time-management skills.
