Description Overview If you enjoy a role with broad exposures, working with many internal partners, this role in production scheduling will make your workdays fly with a wide variety of activities and interactions. This is a supervisory role with multiple direct reports who are focused on production planning/scheduling for multiple plants. This is a hybrid role, with some onsite requirements but also offers remote work. This team supports packaging scheduling in our tablet plants, using system requirements to develop production plans that maximize each facility's capability. Working broadly with both internal and external partners, they consider potential impacts and review options to ensure production requests are balanced with internal requirements/limitations from quality, regulatory, maintenance, engineering, operations, etc. Each day offers new challenges to deliver timely scheduling options considering internal requirements and constraints. In this role, you will be known for your ability to guide staff offering production scheduling options that are timely, cost effective, and meet the required specifications for quality standards. Your ability to oversee staff and offer production scheduling solutions in a fast-paced environment will be highly valued. This is a team that influences without authority, so a combination of technical skills, interpersonal skills, and attitude will be your key to success in the role. This is a great role for someone wanting to showcase skills in leadership, collaboration, and production scheduling. Experience Required A BS OR MS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field. 5 years' work experience in packaging /production scheduling and supervision desired. Background working with Operations, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Scheduling. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced skills working heavily with Microsoft Excel and SAP skills highly desired. Demonstrated communication, business acumen, and project management skills. Good inter-personal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external partners, adjusting messages for the partner's needs.
