Job Overview
As a Machine Operator, you will:
Operate assigned production machinery in accordance with company standards to complete customer orders.
Schedule
3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday with occasional overtime (OT) on Fridays from 3:00pm-11:00pm. You will always have Saturdays and Sundays off (unless you volunteer)!
Major Responsibilities
Accesses electronic production schedule
Verifies parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging.
Verifies proper machine set up according to instructions.
Operates machine
Makes minor machine adjustments.
Escalates & documents production nonconformance issues.
May use manual material handling equipment orbe required to operate a powered industrial truck and/or overhead lift system.
Required qualifications
8th grade education
Ability to utilize appropriate electronic production system and maintenance management system to complete job duties, along
with the respective technology tools, e.g. personal computer (PC), tablet, keyboard, mouse, RF gun.
Preferred qualifications
2 years of manufacturing experience
1 year of machine operation experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Computer experience, including keyboard/mouse skills
Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as gauges and tape measures
