HVAC Journeyworker - 1st shift Location: Holland, MI, US, 49424#job-location.job-location-inline {display: inline;} Description OverviewThis position will be responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of the facilities and all HVAC equipment in Holland, MI.Scope of the RoleThis individual will perform inspections, basic maintenance and repairs of Production and Facility HVAC Equipment. As a member of the facilities maintenance group, training of co-workers and apprentices is expected. Responsibilities also include completing general work orders and PMs in SAP, and interfacing with other technicians across all three shifts in a team environment.Experience RequiredA State of Michigan licensed HVAC Journey worker is required • High School Diploma/GED required • Experience in a Mechanical or Electrical trade preferred. • Demonstrated cooperative work conduct and the ability to work independently. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. • Strong oral and written communication skills required. Strong computer skills, ability to read and work from blueprints, good math skills and demonstrated cooperative work conduct, preferred. • Demonstrated commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines through good attendance and willingness to work overtime, including some holidays, weekends, are also necessary • Working from ladders, lifts, heavy lifting, and own transportation are necessary and essential functions of the job. Protective Equipment Requirement Must be able to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators daily for long periods of time. Must be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions.
