Join Our Clients Team as a Welder in Holdrege!

Are you an experienced welder looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking skilled Welders to join their team! This is a great chance to put your welding expertise to work in a challenging and rewarding role with room for growth.

Position: Welder Pay: $18.50/hour Location: Holdrege, NE Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime on Fridays when required) Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

What Youll Do:

• Perform difficult and complex welding operations on a variety of mild steel welded assemblies.
• Set welding machine voltage and wire speed to ensure proper fusion of metals following detailed drawings and standard work methods.
• Produce high-quality, complex welded assemblies to close tolerances requiring skill and attention to detail. This may include working with robotic gas welding equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment to keep it in top working condition.
• Inspect weldments for defects such as weld spatter, rough welds and missing or improper welds to maintain high standards of quality.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Preferred working knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Strong experience in welding, with the ability to work with complex setups and procedures.
• Ability to work with both manual and robotic welding equipment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing 25-50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
• Stand and walk for long periods (8-12 hours) during shifts.
• Perform occasional physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and reaching.
