About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Processor for the Cash Application Team in the Shared Services - Cash Management Operations Group as part of the Commercial Lending Operations division. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com .
This position is responsible for receiving customer payments to post in the system of record and collaborate with Account Managers to ensure payments are applied correctly. You will also be responsible for working in a daily cash queue while ensuring daily Service Level Agreements (SLA) are being met, while following established Standard Operating Procedures and document procedures. You will also take some inbound and outbound calls from customers for follow up and transfer to appropriate departments.
In this role, you will:
Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance
Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues
Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support
Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area
Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures
Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests
Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
1 - 2 years' experience in banking industry - Wholesale, Commercial Banking or Corporate Investment Banking or Shared Service organization
Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management
Accounting or finance experience
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to pivot quickly as urgency of work dictates
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Ability to recognize and escalate issues to management for any process breaches
Job Expectations:
This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule, In office on Friday is required
Ability to work additional hours as needed

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
