We are seeking an Infrastructure Team Lead for our client located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, United States. As the lead of our infrastructure team, you will oversee various sections including server, network, cloud, and cybersecurity operations. This role will require you to provide technical guidance across different areas of infrastructure projects and tasks, maintain our cloud environment, and mentor the infrastructure team members.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the different sections of the infrastructure team, including server, network, cloud, and cybersecurity operations.

• Take ownership of escalated issues as a high-level support, demonstrating ability to analyze, triage, and remediate incidents.

• Provide technical guidance and support across different areas of infrastructure projects and tasks.

• Support several technical environments including but not limited to LAN, WAN, SD-WAN.

• Have a strong understanding of server hardware and software, including MS Server 2012-2022.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of security solutions, which may include conducting vendor risk assessments.

• Implement new or upgraded security measures or controls, and document system or process changes.

• Coordinate the development and delivery of security awareness programs and educate staff about security risks and opportunities.

• Oversee system operation, architectural input, develop and maintain our cloud environment.

• Maintain and develop good working relationships with colleagues, other departmental members and suppliers.

• Mentor the Infrastructure team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT leadership role or similar

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies and Cisco Security

• Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Microsoft Azure

• Familiarity with Database management and Configuration Management

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Proficient in Active Directory

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies

• Understanding of Computer Hardware and Computer Security

• Experience with Contracts management

• Basic Network Troubleshooting skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferred

• Relevant industry certifications would be an advantage.
