Walmart Senior Manager, Operations, Fleet & Safety Management in Hoboken, New Jersey

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Fleet & Safety Senior Manager is plays a crucial role in optimizing fleet efficiency, ensuring vehicle safety, and pioneer the integration of electric vehicles. This exciting opportunity will responsible for expanding service coverage and enhancing overall operational sustainability.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • Optimize Fleet Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to maximize fleet utilization, reduce fuel consumption, and minimize operating costs.

  • Enhance EV Fleet Integration: Lead the implementation of electric vehicles into the fleet, including charger installation, EV fleet testing, and driver training.

  • Set up data & analytics measurement: Utilize data and analytics to measure fleet performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to enhance fleet operations.

  • Improve Telematics Utilization: Utilize telematics systems to track vehicle location, monitor driver behavior, and optimize routing and scheduling.

  • Reduce vehicle downtime: Develop preventive maintenance programs, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and ensure vehicles are in optimal condition for daily operations.

  • Ensure Vehicle Safety and Compliance: Implement safety protocols, conduct regular safety training, and ensure fleet compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Integrate with ACC Services: Collaborate with the Automated Cruise Control (ACC) team to integrate fleet operations with autonomous vehicle technology. - Craft Vehicle Deployment Strategies: Develop strategies for efficient vehicle deployment, considering factors such as demand, service coverage, and geographic distribution.

  • Provide Round-the-clock Fleet Coverage: Ensure 24/7 fleet coverage, including on-call support for emergencies and coordination of backup vehicles when needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong knowledge of electric vehicle technology and industry trends.

  • Familiarity with telematics systems and their application in fleet management.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to fleet operations.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

HOBOKEN, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

DALLAS, Texas US-09648/BENTONVILLE, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
