Walmart Senior Manager, Business Strategy - Strategic Planning & Governance in Hoboken, New Jersey

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Governance is a leadership role within Walmart's Marketplace business responsible for leading and managing the strategic planning functions within the Business Operations & Strategic Planning organization. This role involves engaging with the Marketplace leadership team to articulate and develop strategic POVs, orchestration and planning for strategic deliverables (including annual operation plan and long range plan) and definition of annual OKRs throughout the organization. The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning will collaborate with cross-functional strategy teams representing Marketplace to develop recommendations to senior leadership for business growth and improvement.

What you'll do...

Strategy Development and Deployment:

  • Collaborate directly with senior leadership to develop and refine the organization's strategic goals

  • Engage with Marketplace leadership team on key topics resulting in well positioned & articulated presentations & white papers

  • Represent Marketplace in cross functional forums ensuring MP organization requirements are known & aligned

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic planning processes, including annual goal-setting, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives.

  • Leads process for defining and cascading annual OKRs based on AOP/LRP across the organization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics for measuring business performance and success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, finance, or related disciplines. An MBA is highly desirable.

  • Extensive experience (5-7 years) in strategy and business consulting is highly desirable.

  • Extensive experience in eCommerce and online Marketplaces is highly desirable. This includes experience both building in a high growth environment as well as successfully executing in a multi-billion dollar globally scaled enterprise.

  • Exceptional communication, written and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts on behalf of business partners and to senior executives in presentation & white paper form

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
