Shift : Full Time Manager Days
Location: Hinsdale
The role you’ll contribute:
Inspects, assembles and evaluates all surgical instruments and instrument sets to ensure quality, determines need for repair/replacement, validates completeness of set, and facilitates effective sterilization.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
· Collects and reports on data concerning instrument distribution, loss and replacement. Works collaboratively to identify and implement strategies related to product standardization, supply reduction, and cost containment.
· Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. May perform and oversee processes such as scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagement.
· Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, vendor relations, and quality and process compliance of all sterilization activities throughout the health system according to industry regulations.
Qualifications - External
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
· 3 years of experience required.
· 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
