Summary: The N1 (Night Shift One) Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing up to 25 equipment technicians in Fab, Fab Finish and Test, and responsible for delivering the tool availability required for Operations to meet their production schedule. The main duties will be to direct the efforts of the equipment maintenance group by setting and communicating priorities and directing all maintenance activity. The Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisors partner as a team to manage all aspects of the shift. Responsibilities: The N1 Supervisor will own all aspects of performance management, the focal process, and career development for the technical staff on that shift. On a daily basis, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning and implementing improvement initiatives that increase tool availability and decrease the variability of downtime by utilizing the principals of High Precision Maintenance. The N1 Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the cost of maintenance on his or her shift, including controlling overtime and spare parts usage. The supervisor will routinely be required to perform cost and benefit analyses for maintenance activities and manage to budgets. Manage Preventative Maintenance schedules and coordinate with Engineering Responsible for a technical training plan that ensures all technicians achieve their required certifications on time Responsible for ensuring all technicians use the required PPE, use LOTO as specified, and foster an accident-free environment Responsible for staffing, including interviewing, hiring, and boarding new technicians and PM Specialists on shift Experience with leading LEAN manufacturing efforts, 5S controls, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and TPM The Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Equipment Engineering and be a full member of the Engineering Department staff. the supervisor is expected to work closely with the equipment engineers to resolve problems, highlight issues, and ensure technicians have the technical mentorship to get trained and certified The Maintenance Supervisors are the default ERT leaders for their shift, and the candidate must be ERT certified with experience in emergency response at a leadership level. Off shift meetings and training will be required, and the candidate must be able to reinforce all regulations involving chemical handling, equipment safety, and cleanroom protocol. The supervisor reports to the Factory Maintenance Manager and is required to attend a weekly staff meeting on Wednesday morning (virtual attendance is acceptable). Specific Applicable Toolsets Photolithography (steppers, tracks), HDP Etchers, Sputter PVD, Electroplating, Implant, CVD, Wet Etch, Ash, Backend Finish Processes, Metrology, Laser Dicing, Backside Grind, Proprietary Lift-Off Equipment, metal Evaporators, and more Candidate must be comfortable managing both brand new equipment and legacy machines This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
