Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc Food Service Worker in Hillsboro, Ohio
This position will help in preparing meals in quantity for breakfast, lunch and snack for the children in the Head Start/Early Head Start program. This position will prepare the food service at the center and other Head Start events as necessary. This person will also assist preparing food, cleaning and helping in the Senior Nutrition site. Applicant must keep the kitchen maintained in a clean and sanitary manner and in compliance with all regulations. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Center Manager, with direction from the Health Services Manager.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have experience in a food service related job.
Applicants must be able to work well with children, parents, staff and senior citizens. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. This position requires the ability to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Must possess or obtain promptly a valid State of Ohio Driver's license. This full-time position is 35 - 40 hours per week and offers a fringe benefit package that includes paid holidays, personal leave, vacation and sick leave accrual.
