Arcadis Value Engineering Assistant Facilitator (95088) in Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Job Description: Work directly with the Value Engineering ("VE") Team Lead, Risk Lead, Senior Engineers, and Clients on critical reviews of projects, such as stream restoration, transit expansion projects, state-of-good-repair transit projects, highway and bridge improvement projects, new embassy compounds, etc.; Evaluate organizations, processes, and services for built and natural assets; Utilize knowledge of design, construction and cost, risk, and business advisory sectors to support the Company's clients across the US; Support critical risk and value engineering workshops; Deliver impact on alternative solutions; Develop final reports outlining the practical outcomes of the workshops; Review material and prepare for studies; Develop alternative construction and engineer solutions based on area of expertise; Develop draft and final reports to convey the impact of the workshop; Support marketing efforts and marketing materials; Expand utilization of VE throughout Arcadis; and Perform base cost and risk validations.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Must have academic training or experience in the following: 1. Evaluate Engineering or Construction Alternatives; 2. Construction Experience; 3. Cost experience; 4. Experience with Bluebeam and/or BIM; and 5. Technical Certifications in construction or engineering.
*Telecommuting is permitted anywhere in the U.S. Requires 25-50% domestic travel.
