Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to manage the recruiting efforts for our Resilience Business Area in North America (US & Canada) for a 6-month assignment (remote working available). Reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Director for Resilience, you will lead a team of 5 recruiters and be responsible for the delivery of all TA activities in our Environmental North American sector and one recruiter in Peru. You will own the recruitment process and use your consultant's mindset to proactively take Arcadis' Employee Value Proposition to market, via multiple sourcing channels, with a view to identifying the best possible talent for approved needs. You will actively promote Arcadis to the external candidate market, whilst always ensuring a consistent commitment to DEIB.

The role has significant business facing responsibilities and it is key the role holder manages and develops positive stakeholder relations through active partnership and collaboration. As a TA subject matter expert, the Recruitment Manager will also guide the business on operating practice whilst recruiting. Arcadis is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to meet deadlines while providing consultation to hiring teams is critical to success.

This role is responsible for managing a team that recruits for a range of roles across the environmental and energy sector, including Project Managers, Environmental/Electrical/Civil Engineers, Field workers and Environmental specialists.

Role accountabilities: Act as a lead point of contact to a variety of stakeholders across a busy and varied portfolio. Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, with a view to continuously improving TA activity, including sourcing, selection, and data management. Provide monthly data reports to stakeholders, including insight into market trends, hiring data, etc. Assign workload to your team in line with defined priorities and appropriately manage volumes of requisitions across a busy portfolio. Support recruitment where required, and proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, Boolean searches, and via our recruitment platforms. Maintaining accurate and concise records concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including complying with EEO and OFCCP federal regulations. Continuously review ways of working and consistently drive our DEIB commitments.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a recruiting team within the North American engineering and/or environmental sector. They will have a proven track record of building cohesive stakeholder relationships and delivering Talent Acquisition solutions. You will have previous experience leading recruiting teams and a proactive approach to leadership with the ability to mentor and coach other recruiters. You will be an experienced recruiter with a proven track record in direct sourcing and interviewing. You will have strong experience in sourcing candidates across multiple channels and understand how to attract and pipeline the best talent. Able to demonstrate significant senior stakeholder influence, including conflict resolution and priority management, while maintaining the ability to reach a preferred outcome. You will be comfortable managing selection processes and advising stakeholders on tailoring approaches to selection dependent on the requirements of a role. Experience of managing conflicting priorities across a busy portfolio of roles and hiring teams. Sometimes there will be conflicting deadlines and, as such, you will also have strong stakeholder management to support this. You will have a track record of making data-led decisions and be comfortable analyzing, reviewing, and presenting TA data.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years' experience. Previous experience managing a group of Recruiters or Talent Acquisition Specialists. Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Oracle products. Previous experience recruiting for the Engineering or Environmental sector.
