Eaton Corporation Material Handler - 2nd Shift in Highland, Illinois

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:15 pm to 11:15 pm. The rate for this position is $22.71 per hour plus a $.50/hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

• Successfully operate rigging equipment to include nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment and spreader bars.

• Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift

• Wear fall protection body harness and lanyard

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship

• No relocation is offered for this position. Only applicants located within 50 miles of Highland, IL will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (i.e. fork trucks, cranes, combi-lifts).

• Availability to work overtime as required.

• Manufacturing experience

• Forklift operating experience

• Overhead crane operating experience
