Description Are you a bookkeeper with strong interpersonal skills and an affinity for group work? Do you have a background in accounting? This short-term contract / temporary to hire Bookkeeper role will be located in the Highland Heights, Ohio area. Your responsibilities
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Oversee and manage general ledger
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Solid understanding of QuickBooks
Foundational knowledge in full charge bookkeeping
Knowledge of Basic Bookkeeping
Strong familiarity with Bookkeeping Functions
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
