2 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 3/1/2025 - 10/31/2025.

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described in the job order and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in Box 3 & 4, Page 1. Workers are needed to plant, maintain and move greenhouse plants, nursery plants & Christmas trees in the field. Workers must have a working knowledge of and ability to perform various tasks required in greenhouse and nursery production, including planting, watering, suckering, lowering, clipping and thinning. Workers will perform nursery work including transplanting, weeding, thinning, hoeing and other tasks required in the yard. Workers will load and unload trucks and other farm vehicles, setup and operate various irrigation equipment, and cut brush and other vegetation in and around fields, buildings and equipment. Workers will operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmer's fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as-needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid drivers license; no worker will be rejected for not having a driver's license. Workers must be able to work in various extreme weather conditions from damp and cold spring and fall days to hot and humid summer days. Work is physically demanding requiring workers to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employer will provide 1 day of training and allow 2 days of work for the workers to satisfactorily perform duties described in this job description. Workers must be available to work 9-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm from Monday through Friday and must be available to work 5 hours shifts between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm, beginning and ending times will vary depending on crop, season, and other conditions. The employer will provide a day off per week, but it may be a weekday, not a weekend. Workers will be given 30-minutes for lunch and a 15-minute break in the morning and afternoon. The employer will furnish workers without cost all tools and equipment required to perform assigned duties. Workers must be able to take direction in simple English.
