Aerotek Assembly Technician in Hicksville, Ohio

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

As an Assembly Line Lead, you will be cross trained in a variety of areas including press brake, CNC laser, CNC mill, mechanical assembly, electrical wiring assembly, deburring, spot welding and more. The role involves the mechanical assembly of small scale products to be shipped out to end users and electrical wiring and testing of parts. This role is key in ensuring your line is producing the required units. Willingness to work overtime if required is crucial.

Hard Skills

  • Manufacturing or Industrial experience

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted

  • Experience with hand and power tools

Work Environment

You will be working for a mid size manufacturing company in the machine building space. The environment is clean with an older building style feel. The company is in a phase of expansion to add more space. The company runs a 4-10's schedule, with a 3rd shift. Training will be provided on 1st shift for the first one to two months. The work schedule is flexible with 3rd shift starting on Monday night. Candidates can wear one earbud on the floor to listen to their own music. Dress code is casual but tasteful. No steel toe required.
