The Welder will perform these duties as outlined by the OneH2 work instructions, quality assurance procedures and assembly drawings. In-process inspections will be performed prior to completion of welding operations. Materials: 50% Low Carbon Steel and 50% Stainless Steel.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabricate materials from blueprints and/or hand drawings using raw material
  • MIG / TIG welding for Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Cold Rolled Steel on Tubing and Sheet Metal
  • Notifies Lead, Supervisor or Management of problems which affect the production/quality of parts
  • Completes all assignments in a timely manner and meets production delivery schedules
  • Set up pre-fitted parts for welding, use hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures
  • Assuring all welding is performed and documented in compliance with all quality control policies
  • Maintaining traceability requirements by completing required documentation
  • Cleaning and maintaining welding equipment
  • Adheres to all safety practices and reports any unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment
  • Assures all items on the inventory list are logged in
  • Check parts and enters measurements on the First Article Inspection Report, when required
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 - 5+ years' experience in TIG and MIG welding
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of welding operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of product quality and welding specifications.
  • Ability to set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain assembly and welding equipment and tools.
  • Ability to recognize and address problems in the assembly process.
