This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position. Hershey’s Chocolate World Ticketing Attendant works within the Attractions Department and is highly engaged with our guests. This is a customer-service focused position that is primarily responsible for assisting guests with questions about Hershey’s Chocolate World and facilitating ticket purchases for the attractions. Ticketing Attendants use the ticketing system to view upcoming show times and tickets available to coordinate the guest itinerary for the day, including upselling meal deals. Ticketing Attendants collect ticket revenue, distribute attraction tickets, and enter reservations into the system. They also provide information to guests who call into Hershey’s Chocolate World regarding local Hershey area attractions and driving directions. Hershey’s Chocolate World requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects employees to be approachable, courteous, knowledgeable about our products, able to clearly communicate with guests and assist them with questions, as well as provide general information to guests with a high level of professionalism. * Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities: * Must be approachable, showing that our guests are our priority * Must initiate interactions with our guests by being courteous and greeting them with a smile * Must be willing to listen to our guests and provide for their needs * Must provide a genuine Thank You to every guest * Greet, welcome, and extend service to customers meeting or exceeding service standards * Assist guests with questions and create an itinerary for their experience * Facilitate attraction ticket purchases * Direct guests where to go for their attraction experiences * Upsell meal deals * Handle cash and credit card transactions * Provide information to guests via telephone, including driving directions to Chocolate World * Perform other duties within the Attractions Department as needed * Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:* * Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with guests * This position requires bending, stooping, and twisting * Ability to tolerate repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists when keyboarding * Must be able to push, pull, or lift 25 lbs. * Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours per shift * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work with technology * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:* * * Education:* High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required * * Experience:* Customer service or ticket sales experience is preferred but not required / This description covers the most significant duties performed, but you may be responsible for other minor-related work assignments./ The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
