Job Description:

Parsons is searching for a Lead Systems Engineer/Systems Architect to join our growing organization. The responsibilities include the providing overall design, development, testing, documenting, and fielding of a global network of tactical systems. The Senior Technical Director provides oversight and guidance to a team of engineers through strong interpersonal skills and creates an environment that values insatiable curiosity, superb work ethic, and.

The Senior Technical Director will be responsible for leading a team and building a system of systems in a dynamic high priority mission area. The ideal candidate would have experience or technical knowledge in SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, Digital Signals Processing, Intelligence Community communication networks, RF fundamentals, tactical hardware, Space Systems Engineering, and algorithm development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops/creates/maintains system of system architectures in a dynamic/changing environment.

Oversees full system design lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, algorithm development, verification, and maintenance of systems deployed within advanced computing environments or onto tactical mission platforms.

Develops technical requirements from customer needs and develops custom designs to meet those requirements.

Analyzes existing designs and prototypes and recommend modifications as needed to support requirements.

Assist in specification of mechanical and environmental tests, diagnostics, and calibrations for newly developed or existing systems.

Analyzes engineering processes and institute improvements.

Maintains documentation of designs and participates in design review activities as needed.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

20+ years relevant experience and Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

Outstanding communication skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.

Knowledge of radio frequency and antenna design

Knowledge of SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, Digital Signals Processing, Intelligence Community communication networks, RF fundamentals, tactical hardware, Space Systems Engineering, and algorithm development

Security Clearance Requirements: TS with SCI eligibility is required for this position

Salary Range:

$165,000.00 - $310,000.00
