Amazon Program Integration Manager, WWPS National Security in Herndon, Virginia

Description

Are you excited about partnering with the Intelligence Community (IC) and National Security industry to drive high-visibility and strategic programs and lead operational processes that enable business growth? Are you equally comfortable working with engineering and development teams to meet business requirements? If so, the AWS Federal Delivery Organization (FDO) Program Management Office (PMO) is looking for a Program Integration Manager (PIM) with a proven record of delivering results.

The AWS World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) team is looking for an exceptional Program Integration Manager (PIM) to support our National Security business within our FDO. FDO is responsible for program management activities across a portfolio of Federal programs. Activities include managing multiple concurrent region expansion projects, task orders, maintaining the program’s schedule, risk mitigation strategies, working with partners across the industry, and facility programmatic administrative functions. FDO ensures contractual delivery and enables the growth of the business by managing the growing portfolio of prime contracts for AWS to provide cloud services to government customers.

The role requires familiarity and experience implementing project management practices and frameworks. The role requires navigating an ambiguous environment to drive clarity of ownership and action. The role requires relentlessly high standards and an expert attention to detail. You will draw upon your background in administration and project management to raise the bar on our programmatic execution. You will draw upon project management, critical thinking, and analytic problem-solving skills, coupled with good communication and organizational skills.

This position is based in Herndon, Virginia. You will join a cadre of program management and technical business development professionals in pursuing new - and overseeing existing - US Government contract requirements, milestones, and deliverables.

As a Program Integration Manager, you will spend the majority of your time partnering with the PMO and internal teams to facilitate cross program activities, such as clearance management, scheduling of meetings with government representatives, working with industry partners to onboard as part of AWS’ IC Marketplace, running a robust Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) program, and engaging with the US government regularly to ensure tracking and compliance of FOCI activities. The role will also include managing internal processes for access control and audits for the team’s space, accounts, and information management tools.

The PIM will be responsible for the program’s administrative actions associated with security clearance management. This includes reviewing clearance allocation requests with disparate AWS teams/organizations and close collaboration with AWS Security personnel to execute personnel security audits against clearance utilization. The PIM will also be responsible for clearance forecasting, tracking, and data calls required in AWS’ monthly Program Management Review (PMR).

The PIM will take ownership of the programs FOCI package approvals. This includes working with internal equities and external subcontractors on requirements for compliant submissions, tracking each of the required documents for submission, tracking government receipt and submission, and working hand-in-hand with the government, internal requestors and subcontractor company representatives to ensure effective communications throughout the process.
