Do you have a passion for working on emerging technologies? Cyber is a crucial element of Lockheed Martin Space’s strategy for growth as these skillsets have become essential to meeting customer and internal needs. In support of new programs, our Cyber Exploitation teams are building capabilities and specialized tools and techniques. We are increasing focus and emphasis on our customers' hardest problems, including challenges unique to the area of cyber security tools and integrated effects.

In this role, you will:

• Create NiFi data flows

• Collect NiFi metrics for data trends

• Build data products in Apache Avro

• Utilize Nifi

• Utilize ActiveMQ

• Deploy the complete DevOps Lifecyle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test driven development.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience (within the last 10 years) in data engineering.

• Experience in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data engineering.

• Experience with REST APIs.

• Experience implementing message brokers (such as NiFi, ActiveMQ, AmazonMQ).

• Experience in building data models and analytics to support mission needs.

• Experience with Java.

Desired Skills:

•Experience with protocols such as SOAP, RSS and other publishing mechanisms.

•Experience building data products in Apache Avro.

•Experience in using Nifi.

•Experience with ActiveMQ.

•Experience deploying the complete DevOps lifecyle including integration of build pipelines, automated deployments, and compliance scanning using test driven development.
