Location: It is highly preferred that is candidate is located in the Northern VA/ DC/ MD area to work on site several days a week with our CEO and team. Remote candidates will be considered if located on the East Coast.

About the job:

The Director, Executive Relationships, is responsible for cultivating and maintaining deep, strategic relationships with a portfolio of high-value clients, often including key decision-makers, by providing personalized service, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring their needs are met at the highest level, while driving significant revenue generation for the company. This position will work closely with our CEO in building relationships with key clients and expanding our offerings within client base.

What you'll do:

  • Client Relationship Management:

``` - - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key executives at assigned clients, understanding their business goals and priorities. - Proactively engage with clients to identify potential needs and opportunities for cross-selling or upselling products and services. - Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction and address any concerns. - Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and expert insights to clients.

  • Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
    • Develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to individual client needs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of new business initiatives.
  • Relationship Building:

    • Establish strong personal connections with key decision-makers at client organizations.
    • Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships
    • Foster open communication channels with clients, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Performance Management:

    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client retention, revenue generation, and cross-selling.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ yearsexperience building and maintaining key relationships within the enterprise software industry.
  • Prior experience in account/relationship management, consulting or high level Customer Success experience
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-value client relationships and exceeding sales targets
  • Deep understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and client needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with senior executives
  • Experience in managing complex client portfolios
