Our Digital Transformation Consulting Division (DTD) specializes in high-end consulting that is solving the federal government’s hardest problems by delivering performance-based and outcome-driven digital transformation solutions. The Director position is expected to be a hybrid position and will require some in-person meetings in Herndon Virginia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Director leads the technology solution development for a large Enterprise IT software modernization opportunities requiring Agile Methodology knowledge, Cloud, Data modernization, containerization, microservices development expertise. Duties include initiating, planning, and executing activities related to solution development, solution storyboarding, CONOPS development, working with ManTech ICO for developing technical proofs of concept among other things. The ED with support from capture, proposal teams is responsible for the leadership, management, and effectiveness of the ManTech technical approach and pricing model of the response. This includes reporting to Executive management, staffing, teaming partner management, planning, risk management, quality management to enable the entire capture team to execute solution development with established processes that meet industry standards for consistent and quality performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Oracle, GCP), DevSecOps, Microservices software development, Cloud Native development, Kubernetes, Data Mesh and Data Fabric, Secure code development, AI/ML with Generative AI usage for code development.

  • Expertise with Legacy Modernization and Agile Software development preferably SAFe, Site Reliability Engineering, Performance Engineering, Resilience Engineering.

  • Knowledge of Architecture patterns, Design Patterns.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen estimating projects/programs.

  • Strong analytic ability to evaluate programmatic IT data, resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience leading performance-based and outcome-based projects and programs.

  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing disparately located personnel, tasks, and projects.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.

  • Familiarity with IC and/or DoD IT architectures.

  • Experience with IC and/or DoD acquisition policies and processes to include working knowledge of full cost recovery models.

  • Experience serving as a program manager leading and supervising a multi-disciplinary staff (300 person or more) of various levels.

  • PMP® or equivalent project management certification with 10+ years program management- specific experience, including subcontract management.

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher with 10+ years of IT Service Management and Delivery related experience with projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL® v3 Foundation, or higher, certification

  • Proficiency in modern software development tech stack Java, JS libraries, Python

  • AI/ML knowledge base with exposure to Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit , GenAI solutions

  • Experience with AWS native services such as EKS, Redshift

  • Exposure to Cloud native DWH solutions such as Snowflake

  • Knowledge of Confluent Kafka, Elastic tech stack

  • Exposure to CFT, Terraform scripting,

  • SAFe Agile

Security clearance requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Frequently communicates w/co-workers, management & customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
