Job Description Summary
Production Leader is in charge of the entire production process our company set of products. Organize and recommend strategies in ensuring that the product is developed successfully, in accordance with all specifications. They supervise teams that work in operations and product development.
Supervise & follow up production plan for the company operations of numerical control machines and NON-CNC operation such a washing, CMM, manual measurements for the aerospace industry, provide and follow up the necessary tools, gages, documentation, and materials to CNC operators & CNC technicians. Help to achieve to complaint quality, safety, equipment, autonomous maintenance, and supplies standards. Help to achieve Comply with and enforce code of ethics. Respect and compliance with Quality Policy, Health and Safety standards and Quality Management System.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Supervise machines according to process sheets, work instructions or any other requirement (Customer specifications, engineering drawings, etc.)
• Verify autonomous maintenance, complying with the instructions in the TPM documentation and 5´sis perform correctly
• Verify that all manufacturing documentation availability and provide if something is need it (traveling sheets, first inspection items, etc.) to manufacture products that meet quality requirements, inspect, and verify the work before sending it for inspection if it is not conforming process through material procedures not compliant.
• Document actions, completing production and quality records
• Generates production reports.
• Revise everything related to payroll for CNC operators, CNC Technicians and Special Process Technicians attendances.
• Update work knowledge, participating in training.
• Request training for CNC operators, CNC Technicians and Special Process Technicians if is necessary
• Verify the correct chip collection room.
• Meets ATEM objectives by accepting achievements and requesting new needs
• Generate savings projects
• Attend to SFM meetings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in similar position.
English Advanced
CNC Machining Background
GD&T.
Turning, milling experience, airfoil milling desirable
Aerospace Background
Able to handle people, conflict management
Health and Safety OSHA knowledge
Operation and handling of cranes and hoists preferred
Microsoft tools knowledge Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
MRP usage background preferred SAP
