Citigroup Finance Reporting Analyst (C10) in Heredia, Costa Rica
The Finance Reporting Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period
Facilitate the implementation of procedures and the development of analyses and reports
Deliver routine and defined outputs
Escalate problems or issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures
Integrate established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
0-2 years of previous experience preferred
Experience in Finance, Financial Services or Accounting Internship preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Detail oriented
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Fixed Assets Inventory management, knowledge on the depreciation cycle and calculation
Take ownership of the fixed assets process and coordinate with support areas of the site.
control of asset tagging and tags inventory
Fixed Assets Contact for Manila, coordinate changes and attend request through CMP.
Purchase order creation.
Coordinate trainings with different areas for the fixed assets management.
Support with Audits
Control Libro de operaciones for Procomer
Use of VUCE, TICA for DUAs process. (Documento Unico Aduanero)
Assist Controller on Monthly metrics related to fixed assets.
Assist Controller on preparation of Standard Operations Process document and flow chart using application Blueworks.
Coordination of Inventory for each of the areas of the site and perform a manual inventory in conjunction with the vendor.
Knowledge of Free Zone Trade Law is a plus to validate Income, Canon payment and address Regulatory requests.
Knowledge on Hacienda sources to coordinate with Taxes Unit calculation of different type of taxes for the asset's disposal.
Customs Management Knowledge (conocimiento aduanero).
GOC analysis, control and ad hoc creation and purge.
EERS entitlements reviews for external applications and has the ISA role
EUC required actions and monitoring.
Managers Control Assessment related activities
Accounting books for Regulators using Workiva.
Accounting degree is required.
Power BI is a plus.
Strong use of excel and Microsoft office package.
English is required.
