Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT&I Innovation Operations Program Coordinator will report to the Director of Innovation Location Operations and coordinate the execution of cost-effective operational activities within the CT&I Innovation portfolio under their direction. The CT&I Operations Coordinator will work with CT&I Clinical Operations leaders to actively support the testing, implementation, and organization of CT&I programs and products to implement iterative management of new workflows, technology enablements, and change management support. The role also supports collecting and organizing actionable information from Innovation Locations to assist Care Transformation & Innovation leadership with decision-making for strategic clinical and operational initiatives.

The Operations Coordinator will work with the Innovation Hub clinical operation’s leadership to organize and coordinate onsite innovation and care transformation work. This includes coordinating CT&I activities into daily operations at the hubs, facilitating observations of current state processes, and providing support for deployment and execution of projects. Their oversight of onsite programs will assist with removing barriers, provide transparency on innovation strategies and progress, and support reporting project success.

Secondary responsibilities will include collaborating with the full CT&I Clinical Operations and Integrations team [e.g., Project Management, Clinical Operations, Process Engineering, Change Management/ Communications, Interprofessional Education, and Clinical Analytics as well as additional partnership of the overall Care Transformation and Innovation departments to ensure continuity in facility based interactions through a consistent planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to all standard operating procedures of CT&I

  • Support and execute the plan for continuous operational integration for CT&I initiatives

  • Support the success of the annual Innovation Hub process optimization goals and measures of success

  • Ensure engagement in improvement initiatives to standardize operational processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and address gaps and opportunities in quality

  • Support executive reporting on initiative-specific learnings and improvement areas from Innovation Hub implementation

  • Support Innovation Hub teams on the coordination and oversight of testing of CT&I initiatives in the Innovation Hub facilities [e.g., departments, facility, simulation center, innovation space]

  • Provide support on operational integration plans and execution approaches based in partnership with Innovation Hub teams

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute various proofs of concepts and evaluations of new products, processes, and technologies.

  • Escalate operational efficiency concerns as necessary

  • Maintain continuous operations playbook for innovation site initiatives and activities

  • Will adhere to the standard operating procedures of CT&I, including all supportive technologies used to organize and progress work efforts

  • May require up to 25% travel

Education :

  • Bachelors Degree Required

  • PMP, Scrum Master, Agile Certification Preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors:

  • Must be comfortable working in ambiguity and demonstrate a flexible schedule to meet facility and CT&I goals.

  • Must be able to work effectively alongside operational staff, leadership at multiple levels of the organization, and Subject Matter Advisors and Experts.

  • Effectively manages multiple and frequently changing priorities and demonstrates strong time management skills to deliver high-quality work products/artifacts in a dynamic environment with critical deadlines.

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills required to identify, address, and communicate risks, barriers, and issues across interconnected and multi-location books of work.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required to share information and observations with a broad audience of leaders and interprofessional teams.

  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and with a desire to shape a strong culture of comfort around change is an absolute.

  • Proven forward “out of the box” thinking

  • Willingness to Learn: The ability to actively learn and follow instructions, policies, and procedures in a timely fashion.

  • Skill in participating, collaborating, and coordinating the activities of multiple work groups to eliminate duplication of effort and inefficiencies in getting work accomplished.

  • Willingness to be proactive and work at connecting with and building cooperative relationships with others. Forming teams, working within teams, and collaborating across teams is an essential competency for this role and will be a component of performance evaluation
