Schedule: Full Time
Shift : 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and Saturday 8 to 12 on a rotational basis. (1 to 2 Saturday’s per month)
Location: 50 HOSPITAL DRIVE, Hendersonville, 28792
The role you’ll contribute:
Provide patient care in the office setting, meeting the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

Provide care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.
Ability to assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments.This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
Ability to position and prep patients for office procedures.
Communicate appropriately and clearly to co-workers, physicians and office manager.
Maintain infection control standards for exam/procedure rooms; cleans, disinfects, changes linen, etc.
Maintain office instruments; knowledgeable of sterilization techniques and biological indicators for sterilization.
Ability to float to other practices as assigned.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications:
Must be certified through the following associations, National Healthcare Association (NHA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or National Associate of Health Professionals (NAHP).
Current American Heart Association BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred qualifications:
One-year medical office experience
Completion of venipuncture class
