Work Location - Henderson, KY
[Employee will be responsible for performing testing, maintenance, and inspection of substation equipment. Responsibility includes power factor testing of transformers, breakers, and maintenance to high voltage disconnect switches on Big Rivers' transmission system. Use mobile computers for mapping system and facilities maintenance. Ability to read blueprints and instruction manuals. Work outside in inclement weather. Available for emergency call out anytime. Travel and overnight stays are required.
[One (1) year of related experience or a minimum of 620 hours (equates to six (6) months) of industrial electricity or electronics education from a state-approved industrial vocational school or a recognized, accredited technical school; or, an Associates Degree in engineering science in a related educational field. In addition, an employee must already have or receive a CDL license within six (6) months of accepting the job and reside within 35 miles of office located at 5650 Airline Road, Henderson, KY, within twelve (12) months of employment.]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}
