Anderson Precision Machining Level 2 CNC Machinist in Henagar, Alabama

Qualifications Self-motivated reliable team player with a strong work ethic and constructive attitude. Capable of setting up 2 axis lathes and 3 axis milling machines including loading programs, loading tooling, and setting work offsets. Knowledge of the most frequently used G and M codes. Ability to read and understand blueprints including Intermediate GDandT. Knowledge of Haas control a plus. Salary based on skill and experience Compensation paid on the 15th and the last day of each month and subject to deductions for taxes and any other withholdings as required by law or policies of the company. Single shift operation with flexibility for work hours based on customer needs for products and for employee personal requirements that are pre-agreed with management. Current work hours are 7 A.M. to 4 P.M. with a 1-hour lunch period Occasional opportunity for overtime with a pay of 1.5 times hourly rate for Saturday and 2 times hourly rate for Sundays. Job Description Set-up and operate CNC machines and/or various other types of machines include band saws, sanders, and grinders. Maintain all job-related paperwork properly including production and quality logs. Maintain quality and safety standards and perform routine maintenance on equipment and supplies as needed. Follow all safety guidelines. Inspect manufactured parts to print specifications by properly identifying and using any inspection tool needed to inspect parts.
