In support of this, DAI is seeking a full-time dynamic graphic designer to provide creative visual outputs to a broad range of communications needs including support to proposals, project and corporate communications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in design, and collaborates seamlessly with teams. They can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals while ensuring consistency, meeting deadlines, and adhering to guidelines. Strong attention to detail and multitasking are essential.
Responsibilities
Design and Asset Creation:
· Create branded visuals based on the target audience, project ambitions, requirements, and limitations, including website assets, infographics, illustrations, logos, icons, social media posts, ads, flyers, brochures, video, and other creative assets to support communication services.
· Ensure digital and creative products are effective across platforms and align to a cohesive and compelling visual aesthetic.
· Create conceptualising illustrations for DAI proposals and reports that align with overall messaging and strategic vision, including infographics, flowcharts, diagrams, and maps that break down technical details or highlight key points.
· Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand complex information and develop visuals that make proposals and project information more accessible and impactful - Illustrating workflows, processes, and methodologies to show how solutions will be implemented, or to explain technical concepts in a clear and logical sequence.
Design Integration and Execution:
· Update digital design and print-ready marketing material.
· Adapt graphics for use across all four platforms (social media, video, print, banner).
· Utilise our clients and/or DAI style guides and brand standards in the design process of deliverables and products.
· Align with the DAI commitment to inclusion, creating accessible digital products.
· Ensure final graphics and layouts are high-quality, digitally accessible and align with brand standards, and maintain consistency across brands and campaigns.
*Creative Concepting: *
· Collaborate with communications and technical teams in co-creating products and outputs.
· Research and present ideas based on industry best practices in support of DAI future campaigns.
· Participate in collaborative learning, brainstorming, and feedback sessions to assist the visioning of creative themes, design directions, and concept development for marketing, events, and other initiatives. In particular attend project and proposal strategy meetings to understand the messaging and competitive approach and offer suggestions on how graphics can support or enhance these strategies.

Qualifications:
· P04 Grade: Bachelor’s degree or specialised diploma and proven relevant experience
· P05 Grade: Bachelor’s degree or specialised diploma and significant proven relevant experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Required Skills:
· Professional-level experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
· Ability to adapt to new insights and applying learnings to your work.
· Integrate audience research and user testing.
· Must possess a thorough understanding of all the stages of the print process.
· Experience editing video in Premiere, Final Cut, or creating motion graphics with After Effects.
· Adept at working remotely and in-office in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
· Knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and digital applications.
· Interest in learning new tools.
Additional skills not required, but an advantage:
· Experience in UI design.
· PowerPoint experience.
· Other design program experience.
· Storyboard, design, and typography skills.
· Basic Understanding of Sketch and Adobe XD software, HTML / CSS / JavaScript is a plus
