At Parker, we’re seeking a talented Digital and IT Analyst to collaborate with our trade compliance, supply chain, and operations teams. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape the future of our Global Trade Services (GTS) landscape.

The Digital and IT Analyst – SAP Global Trade Services will collaborate with trade compliance, supply chain, and operations business partners to define, develop, and support the GTS landscape. In this role, the Analyst will work across the various business functions to appropriately define requirements, controls, and business processes to comply with appropriate regulatory requirements.

The Digital and IT Analyst – SAP Global Trade Services is responsible for the coordination of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration into Sites in the U.K., EMEA, and APAC from a Trade Compliance perspective. The role supports the IT Supply Chain Systems organization, and the Site Trade Compliance personnel protect the integrity of the various Trade Compliance processes at the respective Sites utilizing and implementing SAP GTS. Ensures that global transactions are undertaken in compliance with import/export laws, regulations and controls administered by the government agency as appropriate to the business location. Serve as key subject matter expert (SME) for Parker in terms of export and imports regulations, compliance, classification, export licensing and all other trade compliance-related functions.

• Work with SAP ECC SMEs, GTS IT, Consultants, and users to define systems requirements, design, presenting the solution capabilities, identifying new requirements, supporting the development of new solutions.

• Lead SIT/UAT testing for new deployments

• Support regression testing to sites live in SAP GTS

• Support GTS users, IT, and 3rd party vendors on the resolution of GTS production issues

• Develop license Determination Strategies across all Legal Controls in SAP/GTS

• Update License Determination Strategies when required due to regulatory changes or new classifications codes.

• Maintain Embargo management controls in line with current regulations.

• Maintain regulatory non-US classification codes changes from the different government jurisdictions in SAP GTS

• Monitor regulatory changes in all regulations deployed in GTS for possible solution change requirements and develop new solutions as required.

• Support the implementation, testing of new enhancements in GTS: Imports, Preferential Trade, Direct Filing, etc.

• Support/run SAP and GTS reports for site’s audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, international business, or related area (or international equivalent)

• 5+ years professional trade compliance experience, preferably in high tech or aerospace and defense industries, with significant knowledge of the U.K. jurisdictions and regulations, at a minimum

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

• Knowledge of SAP ECC6 and GTS functionality as it relates to trade compliance

• Experience with system implementation projects across Align, Design, Develop, Deploy, Train and Go-Live phases

• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

• Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability

• Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization

• Ability to establish own priorities and adapt to changing priorities

• Demonstrates ability to manage projects
