THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Market Access Manager , you will optimize market access for new and launched medicines by tailoring strategies to local needs and coordinating with different internal teams.
In your role, you will help build and maintain stakeholder relationships with Payers, Health Authorities, Healthcare Professionals, Advocacy Groups, Regional Decision Makers, Politicians and Patients. Moreover, you will monitor the healthcare and political landscape, and advise on actions to address market access challenges and opportunities.
The work location is Tammasaarenkatu 5, Helsinki , and may require occasional travel. This position reports to the local Head of Market Access & Public Affairs.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Optimize national, regional, and local market access of new and launched medicines by developing the strategy locally and tailoring the tools and tactics to local market needs.
Manage and ensure appropriate follow-up of price and reimbursement procedures.
Identify, engage, build, and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders that are needed for the flawless execution of the MA strategies.
Monitor the healthcare, political environment and competitive landscape, and advise the Head of Market Access on actions to address national threats and opportunities.
Evaluate and anticipate impact of local policy changes on price developments.
Contribute to MA team to make optimal business decisions and feed relevant market information to regional MA team.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM
Relevant Master’s degree (e.g. health economics, economics, medicine, pharmacy/pharmacology, life sciences).
Preferably between 3 to 5 years of experience in Health Economics (HE), Market Access (MA), and Pricing and Contracting for pharmaceutical products in Finland.
Knowledge on epidemiology and health economics, ability to evaluate scientific data.
Knowledge and understanding of Finnish registry environment and utilization of Real World Evidence ( RWE ).
Strong negotiation skills and solid understanding of payers and patients’ needs
Structured, analytical, systematic and ‘get things done’ attitude.
Ability to work in a complex environment and deal with constant changes.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Team spirit and ability to establish strong relationships.
Excellent command of both Finnish and English languages.
