Oracle Principal Sales Consultant in Helena, Montana

Job Description

The Solution Consultant should first and foremost be a very motivated individual with the experience, proficiency and interest to provide deep product coverage for Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, most notably core financial management applications. Beyond that, you should be highly skilled at analyzing a broad range of sophisticated customer challenges; architecting solutions using Oracle’s outstanding Cloud solutions; and directing a team of peers to implement multiple customer events that will yield an Oracle win.

The two top objectives are:

  • Apply your understanding ERP Cloud products to build competitive differentiation by positioning these solutions in a compelling way.

  • Apply your problem-solving skills to architect multi-functional solutions and orchestrate multiple SEs to position Oracle as the best option available.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of Oracle Cloud functionality and the related underlying architecture

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Cloud ERP capabilities -- along with the solution’s future roadmap.

  • Build relationships with customer collaborators across all Cloud ERP functional subject areas – Finance, Procurement, Project Management to understand their key issues and goals.

  • Bring together value drivers in order to quantify potential return on investment.

  • Answer RFIs and RFPs to represent Oracle Cloud solutions in the most favorable light possible.

  • Identify gaps in the Oracle solution and formulate alternative approaches to addressing the related requirements.

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and outstanding demos that address sophisticated business problems… including overviews, end-to-end flows, and role-based day-in-the-life scenarios.

  • Convey clearly and with conviction the benefits and differentiators of Oracle’s solutions.

  • Mentor other Solution Consultants who are learning the solutions for which you are a recognized guide.

  • Assist with demand generation activities related to the products you cover.

  • Shown experience with packaged applications software (e.g., pre-sales, delivery, training).

  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience preferred.

  • 3+ years of project management or solution architect experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong background with a combination of ERP, SCM and/or EPM applications preferred

  • Experience with Oracle Applications and/or competitive solutions preferred.

  • Knowledge of select industries – Travel or Transportation & Logistics – is a plus.

  • Ambitious self motivated with the ability to work independently and thrive in rewarding environment.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $38.85 to $85.67 per hour; from $80,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
