State of Montana Maintenance Worker/Plumber in Helena, Montana
Maintenance Worker/Plumber: * This position is a part of the Military Affairs' Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) and will perform a wide variety of plumbing tasks in support of DMA and Montana National Guard facilities. This position is responsible for assembling, installing, or repairing pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems. Installs or repairs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, or fixtures; assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings; filling pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe gauges to detect and locate leaks. Review blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures; estimate time, material, or labor costs for use in project plans. The incumbent in this position will travel 40 – 50% of the time. *REQUIRED EDUCATION: * * High School Diploma or equivalent; and * Licensed as a Journeyman Plumber *EXPERIENCE: * * Experience verification affidavit 4 years of experience legally obtained in the field of plumbing; and * Voucher completed by an active licensed master plumber or plumbing contractor * Must maintain plumbers' license, renewed every two years; and * Requires 16 hours of continuing education every two years *The following items must be submitted to be considered for this position (be sure to mark each attachment relevant): * * *Cover Letter * * *Resume * * *State of Montana Application * *This position is open until filled.
