You would work on the Division Strategies and Solutions Team (DSST), under the direction of the State Financial Services Division Operations Manager, to support the three bureaus within the division. Your responsibilities would focus on the systems our teams rely on for everyday work, specifically the Local Government Services Bureau Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This system has been newly implemented within the last year. You would have the opportunity to enhance existing technology tools and create new avenues for improved workflow and processes. In addition, your responsibilities would include: · Ensuring proper system configuration, governance, maintenance, security, and operation · Receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving system issues, modifications, and enhancement requests · Analyzing data and creating results of data in narrative, qualitative, and visual content as necessary · Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, contracted and internal technology teams, and support staff · Conduct testing of internal controls and system functions · Work with division leadership to solicit, develop, and execute IT initiatives that solve business problems * * *What are we looking for?__ Education and Experience: · A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related fields and three years of applicable experience.OR · An associate degree in business, computer science, or related fields and five years of applicable experience.OR · Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. It would be a plus if you are able to demonstrate an understanding of general project management requirements. * * Competencies: · Deliver exceptional customer service. · Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures associated with the design, development, and support of computer applications. · Knowledge of software interrelationships between applications and databases. · Use analyses and judgment to make decisions to solve complex problems. · Understand system data integrity and apply information security standards. · Ability to generate and present reports to multiple audiences in various formats. · Identify and consider possible alternatives before making decisions. · Find effective solutions while considering short-term and long-term impacts. · Work independently as part of a team. · Follow policies, procedures, and industry standards. · Build constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers. · Understand personal authority and when to escalate issues. · Generate ideas and fresh perspectives and engage in open-minded thinking. · Adapt to changing conditions and work responsibilities. · Display optimism about assigned work, share expertise, and respond positively to challenges. · Mentors in areas of knowledge that will help others. · Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to both technical and non-technical people.
