Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Follow the facility system standard operation and maintenance guideline to achieve the plant and department objectives. Assures safety of operation and equipment maintenance, complies with safety and environmental legal requirement.
Lead the process water system improvement project from establishment, start-up, installation, commissioning and acceptance.
Daily operation and maintenance with Process water, pure water system, wastewater treatment, city water, HVAC system, Gas supply and so on.
Order chemicals, repair parts and tools, ensure all the chemical using was meet compliance request.
Responsible for utility system cost reduction and continue improvement.
Lead the equipment trouble shooting and provide training to shift team as needed.
Provide project leadership for facility processes - including feasibility studies, planning, cost investment, complete documentation, i.e., generally accepted project management guidelines.
Develop process utility system SOS / SOP documents.
To implement preventive maintenance activities, achieve maintenance performance and system flexibility.
Standardization document preparation and establish process water system spare parts.
Use the problem-solving methodology to daily trouble shooting and process& equipment issues, identify root cause and implement corrective action.
Follow process control rule to Implement documentation, process and equipment changes.
Executes cost reduction and system improvement (a-DMAIC) projects.
Build up the relationship with other team, learn from each other to improve the utility system reliability.
Continue to improve the process water system efficiency, reduce the maintenance and energy cost.
Work with vendor to improve plant water quality and supply line &equipment.
Lead the facility team to build up the high efficiency energy structure and using culture.
Required Skills
Great fundamental understanding of chemical reaction(化学反应) and filtration(过滤技术).
Familiar with the practice of equipment develop, design, select, purchase, start-up and debug.
Familiar with water quality treatment and process water supply system design, testing and acceptance.
Familiar with maintenance tools using, such as vibrator, Partial discharge meter, Infrared testing meter, flow meter….
Trouble shooting skills in damper, pump, heat exchanger, chemical feeding control system and fluid equipment.
Familiar with equipment maintenance program and strategy.
Understand process water, HVAC system, Gas supply operations principle.
Familiar with process water different materials pipeline anti-corrosion & scaling treatment. (管道材质防腐和水质结垢处理)
Familiar with Microsoft office using (Word / Excel / power point) and Auto-CDA.
Desired skill:
Knowledge of base design conceptual in equipment development such as pump, cooling tower, heating exchanger, pipeline etc.
Great fundamental understanding of hydromechanics and thermodynamics. (流体力学和热力学), familiar with water purification.(水体净化)
Understand facility design related drawing.
Good at problem solving, logical thinking and decision making methodology.
Familiar with AB, Schneider VFD operation and parameter setting.
Education
Required:
2.2.1 Bachelor of engineering (Engineering or environment related Technical)
2.2.2 Graduates need a degree in a relevant subject such as environment, chemical, HVAC, aeronautical or manufacturing engineering.
Desired:
2.2.3 Master of mechanical
(Engineering or environment related Technical)
Experience
Required:
35 years of experience in Facility domain.
35 years of process water operation and maintenance experience, or related system installation.
Experience in chemical management.
Experienced in system start-up, inspection, commissioning and acceptance.
Desired:
Project management experience
Process water or wastewater system design experience.
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)
Effective communications and technical report
Able to work within teams and contractor.
Able to work with minimum direction from management.
Good project management skills
