A Day in the Life

IHS designs, builds, and manages Cath Labs, Cardiac Surgery Operating Rooms, Intensive Care Units, and General Surgery Units under the formula of a full managed service for a hospital. The fully customized model typically includes:

Designing and building the department

Equipment and furnishings

Maintenance and technology updates

Supply and management of all medical devices and consumables, including custom procedure packs

On-site service staff

A unique aspect of IHS is that it supplies the complete portfolio of products and services to enable a hospital department to conduct procedures, including those that are provided by Medtronics direct competitors.


Support the Accenture Back Office team to performing to expected standards

  • Provide training to Accenture super-users for any new processes introduced

  • Determine the right-size for Accenture team in both Prague and Noida in terms of number of people required to support each account.

  • Define, track and hold Accenture accountable for any improvement initiatives agreed between Accenture and IHS

  • Ensure KPIs are properly monitored, and managed, and corrective action is taken by Accenture as required

New account activation escalation point

  • Reviewing/ approving exceptions to set up of product master data into IHS Product Catalogue and giving guidance to stakeholders on data attainment and quality

  • Defining and providing Local Work Instructions for Digital Platform, Mobile Point of Use, new SAP instances and other processes, as applicable when a variance to global process has been approved

  • Support Materials Management regional functional team during activations. This may include providing specialist support to on-site team, including benchmark data and process training.

  • Coordinate, test and approve SAP configurations in partnership with Finance and IT stakeholders

Must Haves

  • Bachelor or MBA

  • Fluent in English

  • Willing to travel within EMEA (5-10%) to client locations

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Flexible and hands-on attitude, ability to work and take decisions independently

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels

  • Customer and business minded

  • Ability to interact with multi-national employees on different hierarchy levels

Nice to Haves

  • Supply chain / logistics / material management background preferred

  • Hospital or medical device background is preferred

  • 6 months 2 years inventory management or managing complex data sets in a supply chain environment
